The Gordon Denny Community School in Air Ronge, Saskatchewan requires the services of a qualified Vice Principal with Saskatchewan certificate eligibility. This position includes teaching responsibilities and up to .25 administration.

Two FULL-TIME tutors are required to assist with programming for students with special needs. These positions would involve working with the students in a classroom setting. The successful applicants will be required to work closely with the classroom teachers, special education teachers, parents, and administration. The salary for these positions ranges from $14.70/hour to $21.78/hour depending upon qualifications, training and experience.
These positions will commence August 24, 2010.

STUDENT SUPPORT WORKER

Churchill Community High School in La Ronge, Saskatchewan is a great school with a tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and fine arts. CCHS has a student population of 600 and a professional staff component of 43. La Ronge is renowned for its outdoor opportunities including canoeing, x-country skiing, hunting and fishing, and is situated in the pristine Boreal forest and lake environment of Northern Saskatchewan.
This position is full time to commence on August 24, 2010. Salary is according to policy and includes a benefits package.
A degree in Social Work with clinical studies would be preferred for this position, but is not required. The successful candidate must also have:

- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license

Stony Rapids is a fly-in community located on the banks of the Fond du Lac River in northern Saskatchewan. This K-9 school has an enrolment of approximately 66 students, a professional staff complement of 5, para-professional support and a half time secretary. It has a library, large Industrial Arts lab, large gymnasium and Home Economics facilities. The successful applicant must have a good background in using SMART boards and managing technology resources.
This is a full-time, continuing teaching position to start August 24, 2010. The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan teaching certification.
Desirable qualities for this teacher/principal position include:
- minimum of five years successful teaching experience;
- orientation and commitment to community development and parental involvement;
- goal oriented, collaborative approach;
- strong instructional leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills;
- willingness to enhance the Literacy and Math Assessment Programs;
- willingness to work co-operatively and positively with the parents and community;
- familiarity and experience with northern issues.

CAREER TRANSITION TEACHER

The Hector Thiboutot Community School requires the services of a qualified Career/Transition Teacher. Requirements for the position are a Bachelor of Education (with some Psychology or Educational Psychology classes); a Post-Graduate Diploma or Degree in Educational Psychology or a Masters degree in Educational Psychology or Psychology. For this position, some teaching will be included. Knowledge of high school programs is essential and the ability to speak Cree would be considered an asset.
